Post #1 Welcome to this Blog This is the first post in what I expect to be a fairly regular blog of my random/passing thoughts and opinions on my own life, my own liberty, and my own pursuit of happiness. I will speak on random and varying topics - things that are occupying my mind on any particular day - and really have no specific focus or objective for the blog other than to "get things out" occasionally. Today the topic is simply getting this blog started. Other than what is in my author/Google profile, I'm intentionally not offering any general overview of my background, qualifications, or personal credentials, however I do expect that I'll include various things about myself and my life's experiences that may be relevant to a topic of an individual post and generally qualify me to talk about it. Sometimes, I may have absolutely no qualification to talk about a topic and it will be a pure opinion piece and/or rant. I'm not necessarily out to win
